Knee MRI
This is an MRI of a 40 year old white female who returned to full function without pain at her six month follow up.
The image on the left shows the ACL in between these yellow triangles is totally blown out. It should be nice and dark. In fact it should look like the image on the after image – a nice dark band going diagonally. No surgery was performed on this patient. This was the result of the precise injection of her bone marrow concentrate which contained her own stem cells.
ACL Tear Injuries
These are examples of patients who instead of having ACL reconstruction surgery chose to have a precise injection of the patient’s own bone marrow concentrate, which contained their stem cells, into the ACL.
Meniscus Injuries
These are examples of patients who instead of having a meniscoctomy chose to have a precise injection of their own bone marrow concentrate, which contained their stem cells, into the meniscus.
MSC Transplant
37 year old white male. Before image is 5 months post first MSC transplant. After is 3 months post 2nd MSC transplant.
Osteochrondral Defect
46 year old white female status post an unsuccessful arthroscopic debridement where a large 3cm by 4 cm osteochondral defect on the medial femur was discovered. Treated with percutaneously implanted autologous bone marrow concentrate, which contained her stem cells, at 1.5 years after surgery. Returned to full functional activities.
51 year old white female status post unsuccessful micro-fracture for large osteochondral defect. Patient was unable to return to many activities after micro-fracture and as a result, underwent percutaneous, autologous, mesenchymal stem cell implant. She returned to full activities with this knee.
Knee AVN
Elderly white female with severe OA and knee AVN treated with a precise injection of her own bone marrow concentrate, which contained her stem cells, into the lesion using fluoroscopy.
