My doctor said an x-ray was good enough…..typically this is not the case. At Centeno Schultz we treat the entire functional unit, meaning not only the bones but also the tendons and ligaments. Therefore, we use additional imaging like MRI and ultrasound to ensure our patients get the most precise and complete treatments.

How does the steroid used at the Centeno Schultz Clinic differ from other clinics?

Normal doses of steroids can cause severe damage. That’s why we use a nanogram dose. Dr. Centeno explains:

New Patient Evaluation (NPE)

What is a SANS evaluation?

The doctors at the Centeno Schultz Clinic perform a SANS evaluation of every patient. A SANS evaluation looks at you as a whole person, examining your stability, symmetry, how nerves may contribute to pain, and your joints and articulation. Many orthopedic conditions are interconnected. Unlike other orthopedic specialists that often see 6+ patients an hour, our comprehensive 60 minute SANS evaluation can identifiy the interconnected issues, get to the real cause of your pain and help you find relief!

What does a good, fair, or poor candidacy score mean?

Based on 15 years of experience and extensive patient registry data, the doctors at Centeno Schultz provide every patient with a candidate rating of good, fair or poor. Other regenerative medicine clnics dont have the experiece or data to do this. Our higest priority is determining if this is right for YOU, our patient.

What is the value of a telephone review?

While Regenexx Clinics are established throughout the nation, many individuals still travel to seek the inventors of these treatments. At Centeno-Schultz, we offer a telephone review to go over images you have, go over your medical history, and review your symptoms and function of that area. For those traveling from a distance, this is a great way to find out if our treatment is a good fit for you and YOUR condition.

Can we treat more than one area at a time?

This is on a case-by-case basis and although we have before, it would be at the advice of the doctor to treat more than one area. One of the many things that set Regenexx procedures apart from all other stem cell therapy being offered is dosage; to ensure the best possible outcome the doctor takes many factors into consideration, including your stem cell count.

  • If you are part of an HMO or an insurance plan that requires prior authorization to see a specialist, it is your responsibility to get this authorization prior to your first visit.
  • We do not accept referrals from attorneys or participate in medical-legal examinations. We only testify in court on patients we have treated.
