Alexandra Rose Ricciardi's Story

My review is a little different in that Dr Schultz has been a very kind and caring doctor to me above and beyond treating my knee with PRP in Colorado and treatment in Cayman Islands for other body areas due to Ehlers Danlos. He has been like a type of support and understanding person in my life while I have dealt with EDS and some issues where I needed his advocacy. I am forever grateful. Although he does not treat in Cayman anymore, he will ensure I am in safe hands when I do revisit and is always there if I need help with anything. Having a lifelong disability brings it's own set of challenges and Dr Schultz is one of those rare doctors where, to quote a physician from the 1800's: “The good physician knows his patient through and through, and his knowledge is bought dearly. Time, sympathy, and understanding must be lavishly dispensed, but the reward is to be found in that personal bond which forms the greatest satisfaction of the practice of medicine. One of the essential qualities of the clinician is his interest in humanity, for the secret of the care of the patient is in caring for the patient." This is Dr Schultz.
