I was originally injured in a diving board accident that destroyed 3 of the cushions inside my cervical neck discs at 4/5, 5/6 6/7 and I have three M-6 artificial discs. Several years later, I was rear-ended in a car crash which severely injured the ligaments in my cervical neck, especially at C1/C2. Your head sits on C1! Because of the severe ligament laxity, my C1 would translate off of alignment and my C2 would rotate improperly! Not a good problem to have: severe migraine headaches developed, pain and pressure in my temples and brow, intermittent nerve pain in areas of my head, nerves not communicating with my muscles to work properly in my neck and shoulders! Dizzy, nauseous, severe problems with my Vagus nerve and digestion. My head and neck felt so abnormal and weak and I called myself a bobble head as it felt just like one of those bobble heads you put on your dashboard. I did not have and of these issues and pain prior to the car crash.

Thanks to the incredible expertise, knowledge and skill of Dr. Centeno and Dr. Schultz and utilizing my own stem cells, I underwent several PICL treatments. Dr. Centeno was the only doctor to discover that I also had torn my left alar ligament and treated that as well. It took a good amount of time to heal, but my ligaments feel like my old neck now . . . back to normal. I am no longer a bobble head, do not have severe migraine headaches any longer and pain free in my head!! What a wonderful feeling to get the old me back again. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Centeno and Dr. Schultz for saving me for a life of misery and pain. I highly recommend these two caring and exceptional doctors!!
