Phil Kriz's Story

Over the last 10 years I have been successfully treated by Dr. Markle with PRP for:
- Meniscus Tear - injured doing landscaping in my yard - 2 sets of PRP injections
- damaged Pudendal nerve - injured from high volume bicycle riding for decades - 2 sets of PRP injections
- rotator cuff in shoulder - wear and tear from an active lifestyle - 1 PRP injection so far
- herniated disk in lower spine - wear and tear from an active lifestyle - 1 PRP injection so far

The first week after treatment the pain can be rough, then pretty high pain for about a month which normally makes me question my decision. Then I see steady improvement for up to 10 months. When I look back a year after each procedure I am both pleased and amazed. I have recommended the Centeno-Schultz clinic to many people based on my results and experience. When I share my experiences and results I also share that it is not fun, it can be painful, and that the healing takes months. Certainly not a quick easy pain free fix. But also none of the risks that come with invasive surgery, which can also be painful recoveries with no guaranteed outcomes and higher risks.

The biggest impact to my life was Dr. Markle treating my Pudendal nerve that I injured through high volume bicycle riding.
I was in a LOT of pain, struggling to sit in a car and drive more than 15 minutes at a time, struggling to sit at work, my sex life was impacted, etc.

The PRP procedure was not fun, bit it did lead to a healed damaged nerve. I resumed bicycle riding in about 8 months, but that eventually led to a re-injured nerve. The 2nd PRP treatment once again healed my damaged nerve to a level of zero pain and other side effects. At this point, I decided to give up bicycle riding to prevent further injury to that nerve and concentrate on other outdoor activities.
